Fine, Go Ahead and Have It!

An empty box.
A Squirrel in the box.
Doug wanting in the box.
Squirrel trying to get Doug out of the box.
"Fine. Have the stupid box!"

What is it with a cardboard box? Cats love 'em. Give a child one and they'll play with it for hours.

Until next time.........................

  2. With kids, I think it's the room for imagination to run wild. With cats, maybe the opportunity to get into mischief?

  3. I used to read I Can Has Cheezburger religiously ('til they got too big), and was amazed at the overwhelming number of cat-in-too-small-container pictures. I assumed that cats like to feel enclosed, but be able to see out. Maybe it's a snuggly thing (or maybe, "it's a cat thing; you wouldn't understand!").

  4. LOL that is so true. Omg....a box and wrapping paper and they are entertained for hours. lol Especially if one sits inside and one on the outside. Love it...so cute!

  5. Any new boxes brought in here are cause for wild celebration. Even the little flats that the canned cat food comes in. I generally leave three or four of them laying around and I'll go in the room and see a cat curled up in each one. Poor little things--no where to lay their weary heads but a little box! ;-) Love the heart shape on Squirrel's side!

  8. What a great post! The simple pleasures of a cat. Something to learn from that, for sure.

  9. Squirrel looks so irritated in that last pic, with the ears all back! You can just tell what she's thinking!!!

  10. Squirrel has gotten so big, knows what she wants and clearly gets annoyed when she can't have it.
