Ta Da! And now there are three babies! Well, by the looks of them they are not White Silkies. I collected the eggs shells and looked at the colors. Well, for sure there is one Americauna baby. Pretty sure there is one Mottled Houdan and quite possibly a Polish Lace. The only eggs left are the White Silky eggs to hatch.
Stay tuned!
Until next time.......................
Woot! Congrats on the new babes. How is the co-mothering going? Hope the rest hatch soon.

just darling
ReplyDeleteGosh, look at them! They all look identical! Tell me again what breed your roo is? Do you have any hens that are the same breed as he? With all your different type of hens, you're going to have an incredibly interesting assortment of mixed breed chicks running around! So. much. fun!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTammy-- The co-mothering is going great. They are hilarious to watch with the chicks. And they are also stealing eggs from under one another.
ReplyDeleteJoanna--Thank you. I think so too.
Danni--There are two roo's here. Stewpot
(Jim's fav! ha ha ) is a big gray and white speckled and then there is Bobaloo who is a White Silky. Yup, going to be an intersting assortment. :)
They are wonderful Cindy! Thank you for posting the pictures and keeping us up to date! You never know.... you may just end up with an all new breed mix... It will be interesting to see what they mature out like aaannd how many hens and roosters you get as well. :-)
