As I was sitting here at the dining table catching up on some paperwork, a glance to the left and I see Aristotle peeking in from outside. |
Then there were three! Little Inger ( white) and Benjamin ( right) wanted to see what Aristotle was so interested in. |
Little Inger. Who needs a television when there is entertainment like this! |
Another busy weekend ahead. Yup, more wood!
Until next time......................
Nature's entertainment, you can't beat it!
ReplyDeleteSeriously - who needs t.v.?!
ReplyDeleteI looked up from the kitchen sink yesterday to see 4 hens and Roopert my rooster parading by the kitchen window. They *never* come all the way up here so it was funny to see them - and they really seemed to be enjoying themselves. :-)
I can tell from his wing position that Aristotle is having himself a nice sun bath...I'd like to take one of those, too. lol
Even without the chickens, that is one gorgeous view you've got!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, if only! If only my neighbors would keep their dogs on their own property so we could have this much fun!
ReplyDeleteUnlike television there is always some on
ReplyDeleteI would love to see those chickens on the woodpile.. They would be so entertaining and the view from your window is so beautful. Very cute.. Do you feed your chickens spagetti like Going Gently does to his chickens.. Very funny..
ReplyDeleteta ta for now from Iowa
That was wonderful! Loved this. And the view you have.....I could sit there a very long time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a view! Fantastic! Fun watching the chickens - they want to look at the view too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle about the tape on the window plastic. I've had that same type of repair job. That is so cool to have the chickens right there out the window.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun! Aristotle and all his friends can come peek in my window any time!
ReplyDeleteNow that's entertainment!
ReplyDeleteI agree with jim fISHER
ReplyDeletebetter programme through your windows!
I couldn't agree more! OMG, I just love Little Inger.
ReplyDeleteThis is like a soap opera...now for a good cliff-hanger....Who Really Shot J.R.? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see Little Inger again. I think I have been worried about her a bit, but I take it she has handled the move well. Love her and you too.--Big Inger
ReplyDeletePS --I'm dealing with wood too -- all mine is in LA but it has been so warm here that it hasn't been a real problem. I'm gathering wood from the land too, just like you. And I love it!
You gotta keep the woodpile up to the window sill for them. The chickens like sunning up there and being nosy. Beautiful country.
