He explained to me that several people besides us were turned in by some folks up the road who were turned in by their neighbors for not properly caring for their horses. Long story but it was all finger pointing to try to get themselves out of trouble.
As we were talking he let me know that he commended me on taking in rescues and strays and wished more people would do that. That made me smile and I thanked him.
He thanked me for my time as I did him, told me that as far as he is concerned this 'case' is closed.
He thanked me for my time as I did him, told me that as far as he is concerned this 'case' is closed.
Again, thank you dear friends from my heart for all your positive energy and prayers. It really means a lot to me and the animals here. Hugs to each and every one of you.
Until next time..............................
YAY!!! I'm glad it all worked out for you!!
ReplyDeleteahh...just catchin up on postings and I bet you were beside yourself! What a good idea on your part in introducing him to your REAL world! So glad all has worked out!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! Good news! Now you get on with getting on (?). Lucky animals....
ReplyDeleteWhew! I'm so relieved that common sense and decency prevailed for y'all!! That's really a load off my mind. Ken and Mary of Fancy Fibers Farm, Texas
ReplyDeleteWell it's like this....if you point fingers at others there are always three fingers pointing back, but some people just haven't figured that out yet.
ReplyDeleteGlad everything worked out.
I am so glad to hear this! Wouldn't you figure it was somebody trying to dig themselves out of the hole they created themselves? Now, you can move forward with a peaceful mind.
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling and breathing a sigh of relief. I had a sick feeling in my stomach this morning. I'm sooooo happy that everything worked out for you. You're a good momma and you so deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThank Heavens!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear of your happy ending!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!!!!!!! Thank God for people with common sense!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear the good news.
ReplyDeleteWow - good things DO happen to good people. I'm smiling with you right now, Cindy! And I want to give this county inspector a big hug for recognizing and acknowledging what we all already knew!
ReplyDeleteHurray..I'm high-fiving all your donkeys, horses, goats and chickens right now. (and they're high-fiving me back!) lol ♥
I am glad I missed the last post as it would have been too upsetting waiting for the development of things! I am so glad everything is ok... some people are just mean and I do hope that karma bites them back....hard!
ReplyDeleteHooray! What a relief to know that even government employees can still use their common sense. He must be a real animal lover, too. And now you know you've got someone on "your" side if anything should come up in the future.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sooo happy for you, your friends that you are helping, and for the donkeys that now can stay with you. It's wonderful when good things happen to good people and prayers are heard. lol -- Big Inger
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful news! I cannot imagine what inner turmoil you must have been going through the last few days. I personally think animal limits are ridiculous. I know people who can't take care of one dog, and others who can care for 20 dogs just beautifully!
ReplyDeleteMan, I missed all of the excitement. Glad to hear it worked out. School is almost out here and I have been going to dinners, banquets, and graduations and getting girls ready for their field trips.I too wish people would keep their noses on their property. I bother no one and still it seems like I often walk around stepping right in the middle of some BS. I too am not a grudge holder, and believe karma will take care of things for me. I have enough to do with out babysitting the rest of the world. LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat news! I am so happy for you and the critters. Even better that he was willing to come out and review with you. :-)
ReplyDeleteTammy
Yeah! We knew karma would take care of things. Glad it turned out well.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo!
