Smoke from several different fires. You can actually taste the smoke there is so much of it.
Patti Cake our mini mule. She may be small, but she has a big attitude.
Today started off nice and clear. However as the day wore on the smokier it was getting. By early evening the smoke was thick in all directions. Well, at least it was somewhat bearable as far as the temps went. Thunderstorms predicted all weekend. And with thunderstorms comes lightning. Everything here is dry as popcorn ( without butter). And that's pretty dry!
Until next time...................
We're keeping you and your "crew" in our prayers Cindy. Let us know how you are all doing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings.
PS: Torben the Friesian stud moved next door tonight. It will be this coming week that I will have a chance to ride him. Yea! The mares won't be coming in until next week. :-)I'm excited and a bit nervous at the same time.
Love your hollyhocks!! I've never been able to grow them...too wet here or something, they always get these weird orange bumps all over the leaves and then powdery mildew hits. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteScary about the fires...must be hard to sleep at night or relax completely.
I don't know about Patti Cake...great name. Maybe you could tell the stories of each of your animals? I'd love to hear all the details about them all!
